I'm Just Sayin'

This weekend, I was lucky enough to have Cu-Cu & M, willing to do whatever it was that I wanted them to do. Well, what did I want? Them to pose for me to do a photo shoot. I kind of sucked, because I really hate telling people what to do (weird, I know), so it was short and we only got a few good shots. Here are my favorites though.

So, if you know me, or read about me here and there, you probably know that I love my cats! AND, most of all, I love to torture them by dressing them up. Actually, that's a totally new thing. Since we got Maddie, and CLM had a GA Tech jersey that we tried on her and she didn't seem to mind - I'm OBSESSED with getting clothes or costumes for the cats. Seriously, Maddie runs around as if it's nothing. The other cats? Yeah, not so much. Mythos thinks he can't move a muscle, like even turn his head, when he's got something on. He just sits, paralyzed. Kind of like when we got him the harness and leash. He'd just fall over in the spot you set him down in. Couldn't move. For hours. Micah, well, he just looks pitiful and begs for help with his eyes.

So, my baby girl outgrew her collar, so we had to get her a new one. She loves pink (well, mainly Louis Vuitton, but pink will do in a pinch), so we went with hot pink this time - better reflects her outgoing teenager 'tude! She also got a bit of bling (collar charm or something - shaped like a cat head! So cute!)

Not to be outdone, Momma thought she should get some new bling too...so, Baby and I compromised (white gold vs. platinum, etc. etc.)


Pretty no? Today was a good day too. We hit Lenox to have a watch cleaned and resized (needed another link - fat arms!) and replaced some oh-so-scratched-sunglasses of mine. I do love that husband of mine. We finished the day off with some left over Indian food (um, yum - nothing gets better like Indian food gets better the next day!) and the Sex and the City movie.

Yep. That's all I've got. It's so funny. I think of really thought provoking stuff to write about here...and then, by the time I have time to type. I'm so over it. I just wanna say what I'm up to and see what you guys are up too. Who cares about all that thought provoking crap anyway? :)

Oh yeah - one more thing! Madonna in Philly - this THURSDAY! WOOT! Can't wait! Then AGAIN, on the following Monday in the ATL! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!! Go Madonna go madonna! Sweet! Gotta go pack peeps.

Hola people!

This is my very first post from my new iPhone! Woo-Hoo! We are wrapping up a fabulous birthday weekend. Yesterday was the highlight of the birthday weekend when we celebrated BethDay. Ha!

So far it's not too bad typing on this thing, but we'll see how it goes this week and as I use it more. I do already love the apps i've installed,particularly CameraBag and Twinkle.

So Baby totally gets husband of the year for getting me an eternity band for my birthday. I mean what girl doesn't love diamonds?!?

I shall get pics eventually.

In other news I had my wedding band resized while at the jewelers (fat finger!) and it's so much more comfy now! But...they screwed up the engraving. What is really funny is that they said "verify the engraving 09-15-05 BEA" and Baby and I are all, um...ok. We racked our
brains for hours trying to figure out what the he'll that meant. Finally this AM we dug out the receipt and confirmed it was really B&R not BEA. LOL! So I'm leaving it here this week so Baby can take it back. Hope they can fix that!

Aiight we're at Lenox to go to Cartier & the Apple Store. Yay!

I'm kind of a slacker but I totally caught a flight that was a full THREE HOURS earlier than normal to come home today.

Why?
1) I wasn't really busy
2) I was in downtown and close to the airport
3) IT'S MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND and that shit starts now!!!!

Dear Meno,

MOST of my friends are wonderful. But these mean friends.....the week I was out on vacation they decided to go to see Madonna when she plays in Philly, since we're all on this project here in the Philly area. These MEAN friends didn't even THINK to ask me when I LOVE LOVE LOVE Madonna!!! And they bought tickets off of e-bay WITHOUT getting one for me.

Rude. That is why thr are mean.

I of course found out upon my return and was quite disappointed in the (particularly Chad, but that is another story), so I promptly berated them all and changed my flight so I could go too.

I have been looking for a decent single ticket since then - about two weeks. I FINALLY found one.

So, now (now!) I get to see her twice! In ATL AND in PHL! I'm so lucky!!!!

We're going out to the BIG town of Wilmington, DE for dinner tonight. For some reason whenever we go anywhere I always ride in the back seat.

I had my camera with me this week. It's a GORGEOUS fall day here in the lovely Philadelphia suburbs.

Oh well, such is life. Afterall, this IS the only time I'll be outside the office during daylight.


I don't want to work this week. Can someone come fill in for me?


So, my birthday is Saturday. Did you know that? Today is MMH's bday. I have to figure out what we should do for my bday and don't know what it should be. But, it should certainly involve vodka and sparkling wine. Suggestions? Is there a good new restaurant we should try? Bowling maybe? Hmmmm. I do want to do one specific thing this weekend - get out and take some pictures of something other than the cats. It's even getting on my nerves. :) can't imagine how you feel about it.


For once in my life I don't even have any specific wants for my bday. Hmmmmm - what should I want? Besides marriage for everyone? BTW Blondie put it best in the comments on that post - along the lines of - heaven forbid the life-long committment of a same-sex couple should defile (sp?) the meaning of your hetero two-week 'marriage' to someone you met last last week. Yeah! Fuck yeah.


Anyway, I'm babbling. Have big meeting shortly. Wish me luck.
